BOOK CLUB FOR MEN

MATH ANNOUNCEMENT 

"Attention Grade 9 Math Students - Math Club for Nines will be meeting at lunch today in room 207F for some delicious pizza and EQAO booklets.  See you there!"

SOS ANNOUNCEMENT 

There will be an SOS Meeting today at lunch in room 205.

VIP PASS

We will be selling the VIP Pass in the cafeteria today at lunch for $10.00 each.  There are only 100 for sale.  AND AS AN EXCITING NEW ADDED CHANGE!!…VIP Pass Holders can maintain their VIP status throughout their entire time at Simcoe. So don’t delay…get yours today!

REGIONAL JOB FAIR

 
Student’s interested in summer or year round employment opportunities, are invited to attend the Niagara Regional Job Fair held at Holiday Inn at 327 Ontario Street on February 18th.  Employees from across the region will be present.  Transportation will be provided.  The sign-up sheet will be in the Guidance Office with a deadline of Wednesday, January 28th to sign up.

EQAO

Attention all grade 9s taking math this semester - just a reminder about the upcoming EQAO Testing on Tuesday, January 20th.  Testing will take place during periods 1, 2 & 3 in the cafeteria.  Please make sure you are practicing for the test and that you come prepared with pencils, a calculator, ruler & eraser. See your teachers for schedule details.  Good luck & study hard!

DRAMA

There will be a “Little Shop…”  Rehearsal today with Ronette, Chiffon and Crystal after school in the Theatre. Also…, are you looking for something to take your mind off studying for exams? Then come and spend a couple of hours with us in the theatre at the Annual Senior Showcase - an evening of student directed plays. It's a night of hilarity, absurdity and sheer fun! Doors open at 6:45pm, and admission is pay-what-you-can with a suggested donation of $2. Come on by to see your fellow Redcoats in theatrical action!

VOLUNTEERING 

The Alzheimer Society for the Niagara Region is currently looking for volunteers to assist at their fundraiser event “Walk for Memories” held at Brock University on Sunday, January 25th from 10:30 am till Noon. Please check the volunteer board by the co-op office for further information.
