GIRLS BOOK CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT 

The Girls Book Club will be meeting today at lunch in the Library.

VALEDICTORIAN ANNOUNCEMENT

Graduates:  Ballots for Class Valedictorian are still available in the Front Office until tomorrow.  Take the chance to be heard.
**Governor Simcoe Students:  What kind of yearbook do you want for next year? The question is Digital or Print?   A survey is posted on our website.  Take the time to be heard and help decide what the future of our yearbook will be.

MATH ANNOUNCEMENT 

"Attention current Grade 9 Math Students:  Do you love math?  Are you excited about the upcoming EQAO test?  Do you love free pizza?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then Math Club for Nines is for you!  We are meeting  every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch in the math wing from 11:30 - noon, and will continue for the duration of the semester.  See you there!"  

LITERACY PRACTICE TEST ANNOUNCEMENT 

Attention all Grade 9 Students:  On Wednesday & Thursday you will be trying the Practice Literacy Test online in the library.  Please make sure you know when you are writing.  See your homeroom teachers or the lists on the main office door.  You will be out of class for about an hour and a half, then returning to class.  See Mrs. McCardle if you have any questions. 

JAZZ BAND REHEARSAL ANNOUNCEMENT 

Attention all Jazz Band Members:  There will be a Jazz Band Rehearsal after school TONIGHT in the music room.   

TRACK & FIELD RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT 

On another gorgeous day in the sun, your Redcoats Track Team competed at the Zone 4 Meet last Thursday, and there were some spectacular performances.  Chief among these was Rowan Thomas, who won first place in the high jump and triple jump, while setting new Zone records for both!  Not to be outdone, Avery Goertz found her top gear and dusted her rivals by winning both the 800 and the 1500m, and also beating a 5 year old Zone record in the 1500.  The final first place was reserved for Talin Najarian, who also set a new Zone record in the 100m. In all, the team qualified 13 athletes who will compete at the SOSSA championships on Thursday of this week.

SOFTBALL TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT 

All girls that are involved with the Softball Team are reminded to be at Grantham Optimist at 7:40 a.m. tomorrow.  Don’t forget your permission forms.  **Could Brett Nicholson please see Mrs. Davis-Thompson in the History Office.

BOYS SOCCER ANNOUNCEMENT 

The Boys Soccer Team will travel today to Beamsville for their playoff match at 3:30 p.m.
