ON SEPTEMBER 22, over 200 Governor Simcoe students took to the streets to raise money for cancer research. Over $4500 was raised. The Simcoe Outreach Society (SOS) organized the student walk as part of their commitment of creating awareness of issues in and giving back to the community. This year the Rankin Run was chosen because of their commitment to putting 100% of funds raised back into our community. The walk included a barbeque (with food donated by Mark at No Frills) and entertainment afterwards. Way to go, Simcoe!
